Devon Caldwell is a kindergarten teacher, resource teacher, and sessional university instructor in Manitoba, Canada. Early childhood education and intervention have been the focus of her teaching practice for the last five years and she is at her happiest when surrounded by children at play. Devon is passionate about infusing technology in a project-based learning model to foster collaboration, inclusion, and innovation among students, teachers, and their local and global communities. Recent honours include designation as a Microsoft Innovative Expert Fellow and Devon was recognized at Global Forums in Prague and Barcelona for her collaborative learning projects. She was also the recipient of a 2012 Canadian Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excelllence, Early Years Teaching Excellence Award from her school division, and ManACE Educator of the Year Award. Devon is an experienced presenter and co-chair of her division's professional development committee. Devon loves yoga, golf, shopping, her dogs, and is an aspiring world traveler. Kimberly Glasgow-Charles has served as a teacher at the primary school level for the past 14 years. She is currently reading for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Education at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. She possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education (First Class Honours) and Master’s in Education (Curriculum Studies with Distinction) from the University of the West Indies. She is also actively involved in research at the said University.
